☁️Wasabi Cloud Storage Plugin

Hello @ZeroqodeSupport,

Thank you for the update on the ? and # side of things. Hopefully there can be a permanent solution soon.

For the .eot, if you look at the image that you had attached you can see that the “type” field is empty for you. It was also empty for me.
It seemed it has the extension for you, but the “type” field does not show as it normally does for other fonts.
I think on my end there might have been an issue was a special character to where the extension was not working. I may need to troubleshoot further.

Hi @ty1,

We’re optimistic that our developers will be able to address the behaviour with the special characters. Rest assured, I’ll keep you updated on their progress.

Regarding the “.eot” files, upon reviewing the MIME File Types list, it seems that this extension is categorized under “application”. My testing with a “.ttf” file correctly reflected in the “type” state. We’ve initiated an investigation for our developers to explore why this discrepancy occurs.

Best regards :hibiscus:

I’m still having issues with this plugin. Anytime I try to upload more than one file in the uploader the app crashes out. I have the multiple uploads setting enabled as well as no max set on the amount of files. Any ideas what could be happening?

Same here…

Hi @kevin31 and @bart,

Thank you for getting in touch with us!

Could you provide a little more detail about the issue you’re encountering? Specifically, we’re interested in knowing on which devices and operating systems you’ve observed this behavior. Additionally, screenshots illustrating how you’ve configured the plugin on your pages would be very helpful.

We’ve conducted tests on both MacOS and iOS using the Chrome browser, and haven’t encountered the described behavior.

We look forward to receiving more information so we can assist you more effectively.

Best regards :sunflower:

I shared everything already via support, about three weeks ago.

Hi @bart,

We’re disappointed to hear that the problem continues. Further testing on our end has also replicated the issue you’re facing. Unfortunately, the console didn’t reveal much about the underlying cause. We’ll set up a task to investigate this matter with our developers and will get back to you with more information as soon as possible.

If you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time!

Best regards :hibiscus:

Thank you for your reply and letting me know you could replicate it. Hopefully you are able to fix it. If not, we have to look further, since it’s critical for our customers.

Looking forward to updates!

Hello @bart,

We share your hope that our developers will pinpoint the cause of this issue and implement a fix. Rest assured, we’ll keep you posted as soon as there’s an update!

Best regards, :sunflower:

Hi @ty1,

We’re thrilled to announce the release of a new update for the Wasabi plugin - version 1.105.0. This update has enhanced the plugin’s functionality to better handle and upload files with special characters in their names. Additionally, two new states have been introduced to capture the encoded file names.

Moreover, the plugin now correctly identifies and provides information about the type of .eot files in the “type” state.

Please update the plugin by navigating to the plugins tab in your Bubble editor, selecting the Wasabi plugin, and choosing the latest version from the dropdown menu.

We’re eager to hear your feedback to ensure everything is functioning smoothly on your end :pray:

Best regards, :hibiscus:

I’m finding the uploads really slow. I don’t have the greatest connection, but it’s slow. And the Upload % keeps backing up a few percent and then going forward. Anything I can do?
Thanks - it’s a great plugin, but I hope it can upload faster or my users will get frustrated.

Unfortunately my app is still crashing/refreshing when uploading 30+ images.

Hi everyone,

Apologies for the late reply over the weekend :pray:

@fred3,

We’ll investigate the flickering issue with the upload percentages and provide you with an update as soon as we can.

Regarding the upload performance, the plugin is designed to be efficient. However, the speed and reliability of your network connection can significantly affect upload times.

@bart,

We’re sorry to report that the recent update hasn’t resolved the uploading issue on iOS devices. We’ve notified the developers, and they are actively working on a solution. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated on this :pray:

Should you have any further questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Best regards to both of you :sunflower:

Hi @fred3,

Thank you for your patience :pray:

We’ve attempted to replicate the issue with the upload percentages flickering but didn’t encounter the problem, the upload progress displayed correctly.

Could you provide us with more details or a demonstration of the behavior you’re experiencing? This will help us better understand the issue you’re experiencing.

Best regards :hibiscus:

@ZeroqodeSupport
I’m having an issue with uploaded videos. All the videos on my website show the media could not be loaded. The site was created by someone else can you provide guidance on how to fix this? When I look on the back end it does show some issues with some keys but again this was created by someone else. How would I find the information to resolve these issues?
Thanks

Hi. I think it’s ok for now. Do you find upload speeds acceptable? Thanks

Hi @broadcastingcareermen,

Thank you for reaching out :pray:

We think you have recently updated the plugin after a long time. In these newer version, it’s now required to input your keys in the “WasabiS3 A” and “WasabiS3 B” elements. This adjustment should resolve the issues you mentioned.

Regarding the inaccessible videos, Wasabi has updated their policy to no longer allow public buckets, which could be affecting the accessibility of your videos. Please double-check your bucket policies to ensure they’re correctly set up.

Hi @fred3,

We appreciate your patience! We’re looking into the upload speed concerns with our development team and will provide you with more information as soon as we can.

Best regards to you both :sunflower:

Seems like when I use the left bottom ‘Options’ in the iOS photo gallery and change the file size from ‘Full size’ to ‘Medium’ the crash doesn’t occur. Maybe this information helps in finding the problem.

Hi @bart,

We have also observed that changing the file size to a smaller one fixes this. Also, chnaging the format from “automatic” to “current” also is fixing this behavior. Testings have been done on a couple of iOS versions, and we were able to replicate this only with the iOS 17 versions,. The issue is probably because of converting larger sized files when uploading to Wasabi is caused by the phone operating system, and not our plugin.

The development team is continuing their investigation, and we’ll provide updates as soon as we have more information.

@fred3,

Upon testing the plugin with higher network speeds, the upload speed issue was not observed. However, at lower speeds, uploads do appear significantly slower. After discussing this with our developers, we unfortunately found that there’s no room for improving upload speed through the plugin.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding :pray:

Best regards to both of you :hibiscus:
