Hi Bubble team and fellow users,
It’s been over two years now since Workload Units were introduced, and yet we still lack the transparency needed to understand and optimize our usage effectively.
We’re told to rely on App Metrics and Server Logs, but the reality is:
- The “Individual Data Requests” category remains a black box. We have no way of knowing which calls they refer to or why they consume so much.
- The “Other” category is even more vague, making it impossible to pinpoint what’s causing spikes.
- There’s no option to export a detailed usage log (even a raw CSV or Excel file would help) showing actual sources of workload consumption.
In my case, I’m seeing over 300,000 WUs that I cannot explain. I’ve followed all official recommendations, optimized what I can, but without clear attribution of WU costs, I’m left guessing—and paying.
I’ve reached out via support, but I’m done with vague responses and generic dashboards. You clearly have the raw data to calculate our workload totals—why can’t we access it too?
We’re not asking for magic—just:
- A downloadable breakdown of WU usage (calls, data requests, workflows, etc.).
- Clarification on what falls under “Individual Data Request” and “Other”.
- A concrete timeline for when real transparency will be implemented.
Bubble is a paid service. As customers, we have the right to know exactly what we’re paying for. This opacity is becoming unacceptable, and I know many others feel the same.
If you agree, please comment below or upvote this post—let’s make it clear to Bubble that this cannot be ignored any longer.
Thanks a lot
