We’re sunsetting usage/monitoring features in the security dashboard

Hi everyone,

I’m Lindsay, a product manager at Bubble, with an update on the security dashboard that’s coming on January 21, 2026.

What’s changing

  • After January 21, 2026, the Usage tabs in the security dashboard — Analytics, Errors & bugs, and Log explorer — will no longer be available and the Flusk Monitoring plugin will stop reporting information.
  • Most users won’t be affected since the Usage tabs are only available to a small set of apps; if you do have them, you’ll no longer be able to access app monitoring data through the security dashboard, and we recommend deleting the plugin.
  • Your security scanning functionality continues working normally, so you can continue to check your app for potential vulnerabilities.

Why we’re making this change

Looking toward the new year, the team has been considering changes we could make, in order to invest more time in improving core features that benefit more Bubble users. We identified that the usage and monitoring features are used by an extremely small subset of apps but it creates a heavy performance load in the security dashboard. Removing these features will allow the team to deliver meaningful improvements for all security dashboard users, including faster tests.

Alternative solutions to explore

If you do use these usage or monitoring features, here are some alternatives we recommend:

  • Bubble server logs: You can view workflows run, where they failed, actions taken, and conditionals passed through your app’s server logs in the editor.
  • Google Analytics: Use Google Analytics to track active users, user geography, page visits, and other analytics data.

Upcoming reminders for impacted users

Before January 21, 2026, we will be sending email reminders to impacted users:

  • Mid-December: If you’ve used monitoring features in the last month, you’ll receive an email with more details.
  • Mid-January: Active monitoring users will receive a reminder email before feature removal on Jan 21, 2016.

Thanks for understanding as we make this trade-off to improve the security dashboard for everyone!

If you have questions, concerns, or feedback about this change, you can share them in this thread.

Thanks for building on Bubble,

— Lindsay

Makes good sense.

Just want to note that Google is not the only game in town when it comes to analytics. There are quite a few more privacy-centric and easy-to-use alternatives, including open source options. If you’re tech savvy, some even allow self-hosting on your own rented VPS or on-prem infra. Docker makes this kind of thing even more approachable these days.
