What am I doing wrong? - input formatted as currency

I have a Decimal input with

“Input Weekly Budget” / 7 : formatted as currency…

but in the preview it doesn’t display anything.

When I remove the currency formatting it displays the correct result of the calculation.

What am I doing wrong?!

Please ignore me. I know realize i can set the input type as currency. But why wouldn’t my formatting method not work?

I believe when you format it as currency the other way it would save it as a ‘text’ type. Your input would be a number type. So it doesn’t work correctly. At least I think that’s why. If someone else has a different idea, they can chime in.
