What happened to Copy Conditionals - All Conditionals

My memory doesn’t always serve me right in life, but I typically feel I have a pretty good grasp on what features were or were not available in Bubble.

Previously I believe we had the ability to right click an element like a group, and choose copy special and we would have had the option of copy conditionals, so that rather than requiring us to copy and paste each conditional individually from the conditionals tab, we could smartly and efficiently copy all conditionals and then paste all conditionals at once.

Is this something that never existed in Bubble and always should have, or is this one of those features that somebody removed during some ‘improvement update’ and it has just been lost?

@fede.bubble could you inquire with the team about this?

Oh wait!!! sorry, I just found it again. It needs to be that the element itself is right clicked for it to be available, I was previously right clicking the element from the element tree.

@fede.bubble could you let the team know, it would be better UX if all of the same exact functions/features available by right clicking the element itself from the design canvas are also available when right clicking the element from the element tree, as that would just kind of make sense in my mind.

I do use copy conditionals…

but a couple of things I’ve never figured out how to work are copy layout and copy styles. For some reason, I have never figured out how to use these.

I know it’s something I’m doing wrong, but I haven’t figured out what

I don’t recall copy styles, maybe a name change from what I remember being copy formatting.

Copy formatting is brilliant when setting up styles for different input element types. Setup your input element first as you want it, then create the drop down element. Copy formatting from the input and paste formatting on the dropdown, then create the styles from the elements and you’ll have matching element styles for the different element types. Continue that process for each element type, but it only works when there is not already a style applied to the element from which you copy formatting from, otherwise if style is applied you can not copy formatting.

Copy layout is for margins, padding and min/max widths, something I’ve never really used as I believe the above copy formatting already captured the margin and padding.

Thanks.

Yes, there’s a copy style too. If I create say 3 cards and then change 1, I had thought I could copy the style to all 3. I guess the copy style just means the style from the style guide. It’s just as easy to set the style on each card. But, sometimes if I create the cards, they’re a 1 off, so I don’t create a separate style in the style guide for those 3. Probably should. Now, I just copy and paste the card I changed.

Oh well, I’ll figure it all out in time, I guess
