I’m creating an online store, and I need to upload thumbnails, and descriptions with image made from PS.
I wonder what Pixel is recommended, and the the size of the file.
Thanks.

This is still a taboo subject in many circles. I always try and stick to product images >2400px (max). With that being said, always use thumbs where possible. Calling an RG with 2000 product thumbs is by far less of a resource hog. Only ever call the main 2400px image in a separate WF action > enlarge image etc. Also as a note, if you ‘master admin’ is the ‘only one’ going to be uploading products/images, ensure that you optimise your imagery prior to upload. This is more of a challenge if you’re going to be opening up your app on an MP basis - users are lazy and don’t understand the premise of loading times etc…
Thnks for your kind response. The master admin will upload it all.
How can I optimize the image size & Pixel?
I don’t know how - as I have to optimize it to mobile responsive.
How to optimize the LONG description image?
Thanks!

A quick Google search will offer you an abundance in free online image compressors. Since you are using PS, you should be doing this anyway…?
- How to optimize the LONG description image?
- what pixel should the height be?
-would SVG be resolution for all problems?
The height should always be relative to an images width (and vice versa). SVG are used for vector graphics and carry no-weight in tangible product imagery. Thats unless your products are vector based i.e. decals, illustrations etc…
If there are 1000 products with huge images how to compress the image size? Would’nt the website be so slow?
There is no silver bullet, all you can do is optimise for future proofing.
thanks so much:)
You’re welcome, best of luck.
