I bought a specific domain name, trying to build my own ecommerce website with bubbleIO free plan.
However I don’t know if I need Starter or Growth plan to be able to use my own domain name ?
In Settings / Domain and email, it indicates Growth plan needed.
Any idea?

Are you sure you are a Certified dev?
At the moment you are on paid plan, API workflow are available. We don’t talk about capacity anymore since Bubble use WU. And WU is not really a reason to go on higher plan. Just need to buy a WU tier plan.

Pricing | Bubble and click full comparison. Higher plan are mostly for team and collaboration. Also you could buy higher plan for backup and logs that have a longer retention time.

Exactly mentioned by @Jici you only need any paid plan to be able to deploy to your custom domain. The 1st plan (32$ / month) is sufficient

Now I bought 1st plan it is okay.
But now it asks me Google API Key, but what for ?
It’s needed when you have your own domain.
You can find it in Settings > General > General services API keys

you can enter anything you want to remove the error in issue checker.
However, location field use theses API key. So if you use them, also consider setting your own API keys
