Why does my footer and header not drag onto new pages in their right format?

Hi, I made a header and footer as reusable elements. I drop them onto new pages but i have a few issues.

  1. when i drag them they don’t scroll out into their rightful dimensions they do this (pic attached)
  2. How do I make them “stick” and stay to the bottom and top of a page while I build in the middle of the page? they keep moving. Also if there’s suggestions about how big to make a page while I work on it that’s appreciated.

Thanks you

Hello
Try to change the layout of your page as column

Put a group between you footer and header. No fixed width or height

Set a fix height for header and footer but no fixed width

As an alternative. Convert the group into a floating group and stick it to the top left and let it stretch across the page.

This worked! Thanks Sarah  …Do you know how I can lock my newsletter module to the right side of my footer? the footer is set as a row and i made a group for the newsletter module and made that a column so i could design the form…

Yes you should group your four left columns together.
Then set the parent container group to space between, and the email column will go right.
