Why does refreshing hide data from the app data view?

I have very little information on what I’m seeing but I’m hoping I’m just tired and the answer is obvious but here goes:

I create a record in the database and populate a column with searched data. The data is a [Person] rather than plaintext or an integer. Once done, you move to a new “page” (URL).

If you ‘refresh’ the database to see the updated information, the [Person] value disappears. If you don’t refresh, it remains. The data is still there if you view the record, but on the app data view, it’s gone.

…any ideas what’s going on?

For a particular database item, something weird is happening. When I don’t make any changes with the app and I’m not using it, simply pressing the Refresh link multiple times shows me different data. I cannot explain it at all! All of the fields that get shown are correct. They should all be showing all of the time. This example shows just two of the fields alternating, but it happens with other fields as well. Any ideas what is going on here? [Database Refresh]
