Is there a reason why the “set center and zoom manually” cannot be separated to each be their own selection? Can this be updated? If my user is zoomed into to whatever level they are zoomed into while viewing the markers on the map, it’s a bad UX for them to be kicked out of that perspective if they want to be clicking on markers from that perspective. The programming forces you to choose what will be least annoying for the user, instead of providing them with the most convenience.
Example: The map loads to zoom “12” so that all markers in the area are visible, and the workflow zoom is set to “15” when a marker is clicked. Let’s say many markers clustered in one area. The user will want to zoom in closer, let’s say to level “18” to be able to properly differentiate the markers’ locations; but every time they click on a marker in that clustered are it will snap them back to zoom level 15, forcing them to manually zoom closer. So say you set the workflow zoom much closer to 18, but the user wants to get a more overall view of markers in a larger area while they click on individual markers. Well then they have to manually zoom out every time they click on a marker.
