Hello @aspajeolebouf28,

We saw your thread and already replied there. Our response may vary depending on the number of requests and priority, thanks for your understanding and patience.

The error message you encountered is happening when the “CamCapture” element is not fully loaded on the page or if it is invisible on the page.

To troubleshoot this could you please make sure the element is visible on the page when you are triggering the action, also if you set the action at the “Page is loaded” please ensure you have added a pause before the action.

Could you please check these 2 point and let us know if it will work fine afterward.

Thanks again and looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

I Just tried your suggestions and still get the same error The start cam capture is supposed to begin with a button click and I still get same error even if i put pause after button click. But i realized when page is loaded you cant physically see the plugin element, i dont know if that is normal.

Quick Update, So what is happening now is that the element is in a popup group, So when popup is opened the element does not show the webcam or camera but immediately after closing the popup the camera now opens which is not how i arranged it in the workflow, Secondly the workflow to save the recorded file does not ever complete the loading/progress bar gets stuck at the end never ends and no data change or savings is done in my database

Hello @aspajeolebouf28,

Thank you for your message. To streamline our communication, could we please continue our discussion in a single thread?

Regarding your inquiry, could you provide additional details about your use case? Specifically, it would be helpful to see screenshots and screencasts of your workflow setup, the plugin element, the issue you’re encountering, and what you expect to happen. For screencast recording, I recommend using the Loom tool.

Please record a video in a step-by-step mode with the browser’s console open from the moment you open the page until the error message appears, and then share the link with us.

These details will assist us in replicating your setup and addressing the issue more effectively.

Thank you once again, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

IDK if that might help or make it worse, just my 2 cents : instead of a popup maybe try a floating group set beneath the page. That will be loaded with the page and from the code point of view that will be “visible”
