Zeroqode Pie Chart Filtering

Hi there
I have the following data in my bubble. It is about Tracking “app” for projects

Now I would like to create a reporting page. I would like to use Pie charts (Plugiin from Zeroqode Charts and Graphs Plugin). Now I could visualize the in pie chart with the spent hours per project.

Now when I click on one if the elements I would like to show it in the same pie chart or (maybe easier) in another pie chart the usernames who spent their time on the chosen project (element).

How can I do that? I also found out, that the @ZeroqodeSupport Plugin cannot handle records with a space in the item. E.g. the “Project 3” has a space between the name and the number. So in the chart it will show up as Project3 (without a space). But this means that I cannot filter on the item. Is there maybe a way to filter on the unique id?

I could not find any solution yet. So I am looking for a PRO . Thanks in advance for your support.

From your message, it’s not clear what exactly your problem is or what you mean by “Plugin cannot handle records with a space in the item.” Could you please share more details such as screenshots or screencast on how you have configured the plugin element, the workflow, how the chart is currently looking, and how you envision it to appear?

Of course, you can filter the element using Bubble functionalities.

Additionally, we offer several other plugins that include pie chart elements you might also consider, such as the Appex Chart plugin and Air Chart Pro plugins.

Yes sure. So as you can see in the follow pictures, I have to tasks/projects:

There is one task with a space between the two words (“Plane zeichen”)

The pie chart will display the task as one word (see the next picture)

And because I would like to let the user filter on the clicked element (in this case “Plane zeichen”) it does not work. And I would like to handle it with the free charts that are available.

That is how the one chart is configured:

This works now. Thank you so much. What I meant by the item is, that I can only filter to the labelText of the Charts Element. But not on the item.

So e.g. when I do a search for data and I want to filter the data by the column items projects (in this case), it is not possible to use the PieChart labelClicked. Because this would be a text instead of the item.

What I try to do is:

When I click on an project element on the upper chart, the lower chart should filter on the clicked Element and shows all the users that worked on this project-element. So for example when I click on the purple element “Reparaturen = 38.5” the lower chart shows a user but with the total value of 1 instead of 38.5

Thanks for your message. It’s great to hear that the latest update is working well and that the label texts are displaying correctly.

Regarding your current question, achieving your desired output is possible. Keep in mind that the “labelClicked” state provides the clicked label as text. If you plan to use it as a constraint, you need to ensure that the field you are comparing against is also of type “text.” If not, you’ll need to properly format it so the comparison works as intended.

For example, please check this test page: simply click on a label from the first chart, and you’ll see how the bottom chart updates each time: Chartjsweb | Bubble Editor

Also, please note that we at Zeroqode support can help with general guidance and bug fixes. However, the kind of customization you’re asking about within Bubble goes beyond our usual scope.

Before I write how I made it, there is eventually another bug:

Although I have unchecked the “display value” it still shows up

What would be nice is, if I could distinguish if I want to see the name or the value in the tooltip or in the legend. My preferred outcome would be to see the colors with the names in the legend and the numbers just in the tooltip (without the name)

Now I could filter the one pie chart by set the order of the “condition” (blue text)
Search for … then filter first before group it

Thanks for the fix. It works as you have defined it. But from a usability standpoint, it would be better to choose where the values should be displayed. I mean, I would be able to check if the value should be display either in the legend or the tooltip or both. So actually 2 checkboxes would be better in the editor.

Please note that certain behaviors, like the ones you described, can be quite specific and may not be supported by the library used in the plugin—so it might not be possible to implement.
