Zooming in on Image w/o Changing Scale of Page

Sorry about the lack of a subcategory, I don’t really know where to place this.

Is there a way in which I can have an image inside of a popup or another group that a user can zoom in and out without changing the scale of the rest of the page? A friend had something like this in his app with HTML, and he simply let me use that in my own app, but I’d really like to change out the image, which is something I can’t figure out how to do with the HTML. In addition, it’s not as seamless as I would like with the HTLM, as the user has to click and zoom in and out several times for the image to even show up.

Is there perhaps a plugin or other method which I could use for this? Any input is greatly appreciated!
