Refresh random Repeating Group without reloading page

I have a repeating group that shows entries in a randomly sorted order. I would like to be able to click an element so that the RG reloads with a different random order of entries.

Currently clicking the icon reloads the page, which works, but I would rather not reload the page and just reload the RG. Is that possible?

This question has been asked a few times, but the answers seem so complicated that I am wondering if the option to sort in a random order is a new feature?

I couldn’t find a solution for my app. But if your app could display the RG in pages that’s a solution. Let’s say you can display 10 items, then 10 items in another page, then 10 in another and so on just use the toolkit plugin and set up how many items you want to display in each page.
