Hello,
I can’t publish android build due Your app does not support 16 KB memory page sizes.
@nick.carroll i hope you’re aware of this critical issue…
When you click learn more does it give you the option to extend the deadline?
@nick.carroll The option to extend the time has unfortunately disappeared. I hope it gets resolved as soon as possible because it’s critical…
Any update here?
We are close to a fix. It is top priority to address.
Hi @nick.carroll, any update on this ?
I cannot publish new build of the app on Android
I found where to request extra time on Google Play Console:
Policy status → Select an app → choose your app → policy warning → 16 KB memory → View details → scroll down → Request additional time
FYI - My request was approved immediately.
When I follow this trail I get to … 16KB memory > learn more (not view details) and that brings me to this URL which is just info about the requirement, no option to request additional time. Any other route to that request?
You can find this here also :
Once you you have click on ‘view details’ you shall see this part :
Scroll down to check if you have a button where you can request additionnal time
You’re definitely doing something wrong.. the possibility of extending is there for everyone..
Thank you for sharing! Unfortunately it’s not appearing in Policy Status for me, even though it’s showing me an error for not supporting 16 KB memory when I try to create a Production release.
I’m sure it’s user error somewhere. This is my first app and I’m trying to do my initial release, so the most likely cause is that I did something ignorant ![]()
When I click through the Learn More, it brings me here, which is just general information.
Hmm, the extension deadline applies only to apps that were already published on the store before November 1st, if I’m not mistaken. Since you’re publishing your first app, it seems you can’t request an extension. I hope Bubble will find a reasonable solution for new publishers @nick.carroll @fede.bubble ![]()
So now I’ve had to publish on the App Store for free because Bubble doesn’t have In App Purchases built and I can’t publish on Android at all… Bubble is completely sabotaging my new business ![]()
Thank you for helping me figure out the situation. At least I’m not dumping more time into trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong.
We are still working on a fix and hope to have one up soon. Apologies for the delay everyone, we know its blocking some of you
We are impacted as well, we need a fix for this asap.
We have a new app too and cannot publish now. Any updates are welcome
Quick update here: Turns out this involved upgrading to the latest React Native & Expo Versions. While this is generally a good thing, its more effort than we previously thought was required for the 16kb page requirement. The upgrade has been completed, we are now going through final testing now to make sure nothing has broken during the process.
