I hope you’re doing great.
I need for a project to add an icon image that will be set as the iOS “icon” when pinned to the homescreen.
Until now, I had a screenshot of the screen automatically attached to it, but it doesn’t feel like a real app.
Do you have any workarounds or custom code to make it happen ?

You can do that in your app settings > General then scroll down
Unfortunately, this works only if you’re wrapping up your app.
Which I didn’t do.
Here I need to setup the icon for a specific page like app.****.com/mobile
