AI Agent should be removed from the site. It can’t even do a simple prompt like the one below.
On the work-order-detail page, inside ContainerMain, after the last existing card, add a new Group called “Card NotificationRecipients”. Set its layout to Column. Background color #FFFFFF. Border: 1px solid #E5E7EB. Border radius 8px. Padding 16px on all sides. This group should not have a fixed width — it should stretch to fill the parent container. Inside it, add a Text element called “Text CardHeader NotificationRecipients” with static text “Notification Recipients”. Font weight 600, font size 16px, color #1F2937.

I agree, i think Bubble should just transition and allow @georgecollier to build that out, since he is doing a better job at it anyways. Then Bubble can focus on the parts that we can’t touch.
Cory here, PM on the Bubble AI team. Thanks for this feedback! Agent sometimes struggles with longer prompts like this but did it eventually work? And I love @georgecollier ‘s buildprints!! Why cant both exist? And the Bubble AI Agent has issue context now so you should be able to ask it to resolve any issues.
We’re working on non-AI Apps now, starting with Gold Agencies up next!
Yes…that is exactly what they should have done 18 months ago. Hopefully they’ll pump the brakes a bit and revert some attention back to core product that 3rd party developers can’t do anything to build/improve
I couldn’t agree more with this topic. The AI assistant in Bubble is quite limited—it struggles to execute even simple tasks beyond basic app creation. Moreover, the interface generated initially is riddled with bugs and inconsistencies that require significant manual corrections.
In its current state, Bubble’s AI agent cannot be reliably depended upon by developers. Not only does it fail to accelerate the development process, but it actually impedes progress. All outputs generated by the AI require significant rework or complete revision to meet the intended goals.
Theoretically they can both exist although that would be redundant.
But the reality is that only ONE exists. After 2 years, Bubble’s AI has practically zero utility other than some hit-and-miss UI scaffolding. Despite Bubble “working hard” on it for 9 months, it doesn’t even apply to non-AI generated apps.
Meanwhile ANYONE with some basic technical skills can build a better AI agent for ALL Bubble apps in less time than it takes to create those fake videos of what the Bubble AI agent “can do.”
I can confirm the AI agent is absolutely useless 90% of the times. I’m using another service with many AI agents, so far, I’m quite happy with GPT-5.3 Codex, he better understand Bubble mechanics more than the AI inside bubble, and is totally outside the platform. Would be great to be implemented in bubble, or even having different agents to choose from.
Asked today help to create a glow effects:
Bubble ai give me this:
transition: transform 0.3s ease, text-shadow 0.3s ease, letter-spacing 0.3s ease;
pointer-events: auto;
&:hover {
transform: scale(1.15 );
letter-spacing: 3 px;
text-shadow: 0 0 20px var(–color_primary_defau lt);
}
Asked gpt-5.3 why was not working. Immediate answer: “Yes — and the issue is exactly this: &:hover is SCSS syntax, not plain CSS (Bubble expects plain CSS).”
Got the code and instructions worked immediately.
And more over the AI does even know where the stuff is located on the interface. I often ask to be guided were to find the element he his try to let me change, and make stuff up, total hallucination.
Would be also great he could read and learn from the forum, I found a solution to a problem in the forum yesterday and he knew nothing about that.
Hope this information can help you guy offer a better AI agent.
I think the trouble with Bubble’s AI agent is that Bubble is covering the cost of the AI, and obviously need to try to keep token usage down. To produce anything with decent quality it takes subscription level AI usage which is costly.
They need to just switch to a bring your own AI subscription, like Buildprint.
Bubble, literally just buy Buildprint, have your entire AI team work on it, call it a day
