Setting up a repeating group. Adding multiple text boxes to pull data from database. However- I cannot figure how to move and align the text boxes to where I want them to go. I play around with the alignment- But what if I do not want alignment?
I just want them next to each other
[text box1][ text box2][text box 3]
What container alignment are you using?
If you want them side by side then the p arenât container shoud be set as a âRowâ
solved.
I essentially had to go to Layout and change the alignment type of the parent container to âfixedâ. This let me place my text boxes in a position of my liking.
Ok⌠well just be aware that using a âfixedâ layout means itâs not responsive.
thank you- I think I finally understood it. I changed it all back to relative alignments.
Hey @vsman,
Great question! Aligning text boxes inside a Repeating Group in Bubble can be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, itâs quite simple.
We put together a quick video guide that explains how to control alignment and placement effectively. One watch, and youâll have a much clearer idea of how to structure your elements!

I recommend always using preset styles. This will improve your appâs performance and speed up the creation of future repeating groups. Create new styles for groups and texts. Cheers and happy developing!
