For the last two weeks, I have not been able to successfully create an Android build from the Bubble editor. I keep getting this error message without any additional context on what the specific issue may be;
I don’t know if this is something I’m doing wrong, but I linked a recent post where the Bubble team said it was an issue with the third party tool that they use to create the builds.
Is anyone else going through this at this moment, or just me?
Question, are there different error codes for different types of issues with builds? If so, would it be possible to include more specific context in these emails so that we know what exactly went wrong?
Like, whether it’s user issue, or an issue with our files, or something of that nature.
But in my case an error email didn’t arrive. No email has arrived about the failure to build the android build.. Is this the first time you send a build?
@knocode would you mind submitting a bug report (or following up on open tickets)?
Looks like we haven’t received any complaints around android fail builds in several days so this might be related specifically to you instead of widespread issues.
And that’s odd. Unfortunately, because I don’t know which specific part of the build fails or why, I don’t know where to start attempting to resolve anything from my end.
Anna was able to identify that there was a specific issue with the .json key I generated from Google Cloud. I redid some of the steps from scratch and regenerated the file. Bubble returned the .aab file. I think I should be good on this now.
