@georgecollier Our buildprint subscription is all of a sudden telling us that we’ve hit our limit on reading app data, despite us not having a limit on our plan.
We implement reasonable rate limits to protect the Bubble platform. For bulk edits, use bulk workflows/data API
Totally understand the need for limits. The hard part for us is that we can’t see our usage, so we had no warning and don’t know what used up 2,500 reads. Our billing page also shows CLI / MCP / API usage as Unlimited, so we weren’t expecting a cap at all. Also, we’re on dedicated, so our reads don’t touch shared Bubble capacity.
Losing data reads for a full day sends our whole team back to doing things by hand, which costs us time and money. Would it be possible to raise the limit for Dedicated apps? A usage counter or a warning before the limit is reached would help us avoid this in the future.
One of your team members (sh*******@yourdomain.com) was running a loop of buildprint data search on every data type in alphabetical order about 13 times on Sep 24 to 25. It looks like an agent or a script.
They were rate limited at 500/hr but them/the agent chose to continue later after they’d reset which ate up the other limits.
We’ll explore removing the daily limit; we just have to be careful because Buildprint basically exposes an API to other Bubble apps, and there have been incidents on Bubble triggered by load from Buildprint which is why the limits exist here

Here is an example. i have a conversation and i pose a question - what did you last do. it answers and i see it. i go to a different agent and come back to the conversation and my question and it’s answer is gone.
Have you tried quitting and reopening the desktop app?
yes, i closed and opened back up the app. i also see the same behavior with the browser.

I had the vanishing messages issue yesterday too. Had to ask the BP agent to remind me what its last response was about twenty times throughout the day. I did ask it to report it to the bp team as a bug.

About a decade of difference
This doesn’t seem to be the issue. For example last night I was doing some BP work from my phone. This morning I log in with my desktop and click on the conversation and notice that a number of messages are not showing that were worked on last night. So I check the phone version - and strangely, now even more messages are missing from that one. I’ve reset browsers etc but the messages do not return. The only way to make them come back, kind of, is to ask BP to remind me what we just worked on.
new messages show on both devices as expected - but it’s interesting that the “gap” of missing messages above it is completely different on both.
Note that this didn’t EVER happen before a couple of days ago. Now it’s a consistent issue. Hope you can solve it,
Introducing components v2 for advanced UI natively in Bubble
In Bubble, one common reason for migrating away is that some stuff is just impossible. Or at least, not practical.
Buildprint Components now change that.
We’ve just released Unicorn UI, a collection of 300+ full stack components for Bubble apps, all built natively in Bubble.
To use a specific component, try the Components tab in Buildprint (you can now access it within a chat too).
Buildprint will also use these automatically to improve the quality of UI it generates.

My latest messages in an agent chat don’t seem to load. I was doing some changes with a Buildprint agent and then left for lunch, when I came back I noticed Buildprint logged me out, but when I logged back in the latest messages on that chat were yesterday, I worked for hours in the morning and I don’t see that part of the chat.
Here’s a screenshot, you can see on the top left this agent was last active 2 hours age, but at the bottom right, on the chat it says 16 hours ago.
Is this an issue or am I missing something here?
I’m investigating it and think I know the course (it’s related to some performance related stuff for messages in long chats that aren’t shown on screen)
