Excuse my excitement, but those new features are the biggest answer to my previous scepticism about Bubble forgetting power users. Thanks team, keep up the good work!
I agree there are some really good updates and directions here.
To be honest the one I think that will get the most use out of all of them is being able to manage/update workflows from the freakin Design tab!! No more back and fourth!!
However doesnt look like we can set a folder so my workflow tab is about to get messy
!
One thing I really hope they focus on next is the editor memory leakage. With all of these new features piling on top of the editor, I have noticed it act a lot slower for me lately.
Love everything being at one click but would be great if I could separate out the Design tab or the database tab and just have that without the noise of all the other tabs
I’m excited to see the improvements here and some of this was long overdue (way too many years). What I’m hoping for now is consistency. Once a month on QOL updates would keep everyone engaged.
I feel like I need a cigarette after that. My eyes thank you.
I haven’t be in AWE in quite some time, but this morning… BAM!
![]()
And it goes unannounced ! Sorry what ?! This is some HUGE dev life improvement.
Not a breaking change as this stuff has been doable through using techniques like reusable element’s custom workflow, or using a group as a datastore at the page level.
But now this is done way cleaner !
Well done.
EDIT : the dark mode is nice as well
Ohh, I might just have to use dark mode so I could finally use the new property editor, it looks good with a background color
lol this might put me over the edge to the new property editor too!
While we needed all these things, and they are VERY nice.. what Bubble.io really* needed as a platform to survive, is a true MCP style connection to an LLM
Otherwise long term, it’s just not going to survive imo
I’ve been on bubble for over 5 years, since before my kids were born, and LOVE it.. but what someone can do with AI in a single day is mind-blowing .. yet bubble is too busy trying to build AI-chat into bubble directly without really being able to deliver the same power or have anywhere near the same level of control something like Opus4.8 would have given an MCP
Imagine being able to chat claude for a bubble build, and then being able to go in and make optimized edits! like thats literally the best of both worlds.. but meanwhile platforms like Xano are really leaning in HARD in a very clever way
Really would be cool.
Who’s gonna tell him
I’ll tell him: @pyli
www.buildprint.ai
Is this useful at all for UI? I’m seeing lots of debugging and workflow stuff, but not so much for design.
ideal world is being able to paste code and/or a link/screenshots of something and have it rebuild it inside of bubble
edit: i asked gemini and it said no, so i kind of have an answer already. its incredible how useful llms can be, barring hallucination ofc.
Actually yes it can! I’ve been using it for UI, feeding it screenshots from Figma / Stitch and refining from there. You can ask it to build it in HTML first to preview for you before it implements the changes.
@georgecollier built an incredible tool!
it’ll do this, and when it’s done, it’ll show you the screenshots of what it built in Bubble ![]()
@drixxon if you built a design system (reusable elements, styles, etc.) in bubble, you can teach Buildprint. And like Codex or Claude, you can create skills for any unique element/scenarios too.
