API call help! Trying to send images to Eden.ai OCR service, then get text returned to Bubble with API Connector

Hey!

So I’m trying to have the user take a photo of a document, send the image to eden.ai OCR, and get the resulting text back to be stored on a database within bubble.

I can get as far as getting the camera to take a photo, then the image is stored on a new database which I made. I’m just really struggling with the API process.

I’ve read both The API Connector and Eden.ai’s documents, asked chatgpt and bubble.io AI to give me step by step instructions and still no clearer. I think I’m the weak link in the chain though so be gentle. :joy:

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated!

No worries. APIs are a hard thing to wrap your head around when you are learning a no-code tool. This is the ‘code’ part of it that is more challenging.

Can you show some screenshots or a video of your workflows? That would help us debug it with you. :blush:
