Bubble chart element plugin

Im using the free bubble created chart.js plugin and its amazing. So easy. Works well. That said ive been struggling for days with something - so posting this question. The chart doesnt update when the data changes. Thats ok I figured when you go back in (via show) it would update… but it doesnt. You have to fire the app up from start to see the changes. Is this just a limitation ? will another plugin eg techblocks chart solve this. Relunctant to buy unless I know this is an issue. I couldnt find anything on the forum to help me
