Yes, look at Shopify… https://downdetector.com/status/shopify/
My storefront is working fine here.
As inconvenient as this outage is, I have to congratulate you because the alert (email and status page) were updated immediately. I first learned about the outage via email and then noticed it in my app.
team is looking into how the cloudflare outage is affecting us so we can share more info with everyone
Agreed - we’re looking to move away from Bubble before we scale any further. It’s an amazing service, and I’ll never be convinced otherwise - BUT, the service and reliability just isn’t there for business critical services - and it’s happening more, and more, and more often recently.
Are you really comparing shopify to Bubble?
In any case it seems that both AWS and cloudflare are down at the moment
i have had so many issues with bubble personally i am building aside natively my apps for production enviroments i hope to migrate them completely soon ande just use bubble for mvp and natively for proudction, they always have so many issues
Bro, it’s not a crime to criticize what needs to be criticized… Check out this site: actowatches.com, built on Shopify, and running perfectly fine…
FRONT END IS NOT WORKING ALSO. I can’t understand this situation that without any notice.
We haven’t had a single outage all summer? What do you mean by more and more often?
Respectfully, are you kidding me?
to be clear … I LOVE BUBBLE, and I don’t think there is really anything out there at the moment that rivals it, but I’m also a realist and honest - the DB crashed only this week? It was widespread? If you’d like I can send you the link to the forum articles?
no body is there to fix or excuse or explain about this?
Is Bubble slow and buggy? - just this week!
It was an absolute disaster for our business - customers who couldn’t sign up - staff couldn’t process transactions, students couldn’t receive certificates - and much more.
yeah this last 7 days have been pretty rough, but it sounded like you were speaking on a longer period of time. Absolutely true that since last Friday we’ve had 3-4 bad moments. Hoping we get to a better state soon
I think it’s acceptable to have outage occured, but you must have some protocol or backup plan for us. Are there any way we can prevent this next time when it happen?
I’ve been running my SaaS on Bubble for over a year, and I’ve never had a frontend issue like this. What I think people are trying to say — and what I mentioned in a few messages above — is that it’s understandable if the editor or test version crashes, goes offline, or slows down.
But what I find unacceptable is the frontend going down like this. Look at my case: exactly 24 hours from now I’ll be running a launch for 3,000 hot leads, ready to buy. Can you imagine if the platform goes down at that exact time? That would cause massive losses.
Damnnnn no good
Canva, hubspot AND NPM added to the list? Quite the outage for lots of people right now.
Is there a backup plan for when half the internet goes down? ![]()
Like @bcart0v said ya’ll, there are some major system wide outages right now outside of Bubbles control, there are huge businesses taking a hit right now, just like all of ours -
