My dev site is super slow and loading weirdly
Issues are cropping up again today. No failures but searches and page refreshes are very slow to load (2-10 seconds for a simple search on a very small testing DB)
I am facing issues with my editor. I guess it is down
I have user complaints about database querys not showing and / or only partially loading.
I found that contains keyword(s) causes problems. To search a data type, it can take about 10x as long. Some simple tests for contains vs contains keyword(s) show:
411ms / 5200 ms
322ms /2200 ms
316ms / 5570 ms
462 ms / 5500 ms
Contains keyword(s) search time appears to scale proportionally to 1. the length of the input query and 2. the amount of data in the DB. Meanwhile, ‘contains’ seems to run just as fast no matter the query size or data in DB.
I do not know if it has always been like this, but noticed it a couple of days ago when a search was timing out (>30 seconds) using the contains keyword(s) search operator.
This could well be your issue, or it could be something completely different, but hope it helps
We have been experiencing issues today as well… Nothing has changed in our app for the last few days but suddently today (after the recent issue with the database), some simple searches that don’t contain :filtered just straigh searches that should return 200-300 items is using all our capacity… we been hitting max capacity for the whole day every 5 minutes…
As said nothing has changed in our end, but overall searches are pretty slow…
Haven’t done any deploys today but somehow Bubble had deleted one of the workflows causing my app to stop working and bigger mess for my customers. Checked “Releases” page and saw that at the same time they had done some “fixes” in this area.
Didn’t make any bug report as it is easier and quicker to build a new workflow than trying to explain to Bubble Support that there is a problem.
I really hope Bubble Team is forgetting AI and other “nice-to-have-projects” and concentrate on realibility and quality in the future. This simply can’t continue anymore.

I wish I had never learned Bubble in the first place. After years of hard work and my app starting to lift off the ground, this keeps happening with Bubble every time a customer engages with the app live. I was checking a customer’s live recording, and strangely, they couldn’t access some parts of the app. When I checked, wow, Bubble is down. I can’t imagine anything worse than this. If these things continue to happen, I would recommend not wasting time and money with them.
Bubble is still down for our apps and it’s so frustrating that their status page says all good.

Thank you for the update. It’s really frustrating that the status page says all good when, it’s completely down for anything that touches the db. I hope you guys are all hands on deck and will get this fixed soon, our customers are getting fed up
