Sadly, keep in mind that the reason why it’s working like that: reduce chance of errors. Don’t forget, this is a NO code tool. It’s not that hard to use. And in the past, we go a beta of expression composer with more flexibility that finally has a lot of bugs… so they just removed it for now…
This is something, I guess, that AI will be able to do on short term.
Already possible. Click “i” top right to get the list of events and actions
There’s a lot of way to do thing and if you talk to a lot of power user, often, they don’t use a lot of plugins. However, there’s some plugins that are outdated or should just be a native Bubble element (mostly built by Bubble itself)
Why? Bubble already have a DB… why another one? There’s a lot more thing that Bubble could do to improve their on DB features (mostly related to search function)
For all the rest, I agree for most of them. But for sure, the core doesn’t receive enough attention. I’m happy to see a new Bubble user saying they don’t care about AI (like a lot like me was saying too ) However, I must agree with Bubble team that they need to integrate AI to stay competitive. I don’t use it (and don’t see any reason for at this moment), but for new users, this is something they are looking for.
I am telling you, you need to be extremely resilient and experimental guy or very smart or know coding well enough. Otherwise I feel that, plugin-performance conundrum.
I am at a point where when I find a workaround fear might break my work.
Bubble needs to work on Bubble native elements in parallel with Bubble AI to be beginner friendly.
I absolutely agree with you. Sometimes it seems that people have to complain just for pastime. I honestly don’t think so. At all. Native pdf? It’s full of plugins and you can build your own if you don’t want to pay. Don’t you know how to use the code? AI also helps you do this. So useless complaints.
Is Bubble down every two seconds? It doesn’t seem like it to me honestly. Maybe because I’m in Europe but it’s not my turn. For the record, AWS and Cloudflare also have constant problems so what are we talking about?
The table element is out of the beta, so I don’t understand what the problem is (of course, it came out recently and the post is from March 30, but I don’t think all this addition compared to the repeated group, or at least in my use cases for me it is useless).
Loading speed? I honestly don’t see all this slowness. Can it be improved? That always but making a case seems really exaggerated to me.
I don’t know if maybe they are my use cases at the moment but I can guarantee you that I have set up more than 5 apps for my international franchise and no one complains about performance or problems. Something that used to happen when we rented technology from external companies that work with code.
