My bubble app is loading desperately slow on mobile only. There’s no difference in the way the page loads for mobile; no conditions or anything.
Does anyone else have this issue?
PC load time: ~3 seconds
Mobile load time: +10 seconds
It’s completely unusable, and has been going on for weeks now.
It seems that it’s your data searches that are slow, not the page load. You’re probably returning too much data in your search for listings.
Mobile devices and their browsers are less powerful than most desktops and usually have much more things running on them so that less ram / cpu, etc can be allocated to loading your site on mobile
But it works perfectly okay for desktop - why would only mobile be impacted? I’ve always searched this way, but the issues only come up lately.
Thanks for your response - It’s only just started showing this issue the past week or so… and then search isn’t huge (1,400 entries).
I’ve been testing every minute for 15 minutes now.
It occasionally loads in the 3 seconds window as it should - I think this is an issue on Bubble’s side… hopefully stemming from the recent stability issues.
We really need Bubble to be stable - This is costing our business in SEO and google PPC
Not about how big the search is but how efficient it is. Its not a bubble issue if it generally loads on desktop in 3 seconds and triple that on mobile.
Pagination with 20-30 entries per is a nice sweet spot on repeating groups. Also, make sure your images are compressed at the lowest file size possible—those suckers can really slow things down.
