Can't center a text box

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong with this? I’m trying to centre a text box in a group that I’m using as a header…

This is it in Design view

And this is what it comes out like in Preview.

I want the “Add Team Members” heading to be in the middle.
But I’m tired, it’s been a long and week and I’m about to put a hammer through my monitor.
Please help if you can…

The parent group probably have a maximum width. Just remove it and it’ll work

I tried this but it still couldn’t center the components. Anything else I can do?
