Can't reorder elements in UI Builder?

Hi all - I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but this is driving me crazy and I can’t seem to figure out something incredibly basic:

I can’t seem to move around or re-order elements in the UI builder.

For example, in the screenshot below, I can’t drag one group to be before the other: (i.e. since Group Right Side is a row group, make one to the left of the other)

Dragging and dropping doesn’t move it unfortunately.

When I try dragging them in the UI itself, I can never get them to go into the correct container, they always just go into the parent no matter where on the screen I try to put them.

Any advice? Thanks all!

It sounds like you are using Fixed group for the parent. Change the parent group’s type to Row or Column to allow reordering in the element tree.

This requires the page to be on the new responsive engine, FYI. You may need to click Upgrade Responsive if you see that option on the responsive tab.

Thanks @NexradJosh ! As far as I can tell, the Parent is Row layout (and it’s parent is Column layout), so I’m afraid there’s no Fixed group in the parent sequence that I can find, a good line of inquiry though!
