Change Element State

Hello!

I am curious to know if there is a way/workflow someone has thought of that can reverse an elements custom state. I have something that is called “Active - yes/no”. when someone clicks a specific Group, this State becomes a “yes” through a workflow".

But, I want it to become a “no” when the user clicks a different element (without having to be like "When User clicks Element A, then Element B & C & D & E & F become “no”.

Is there a method that is like “Turn Active to “no” when other element is clicked”? Without specify which element?

Instead of storing a yes/no state just store a text string (or option set). So if you click something set the state to a specific string of text (or option)

So what determines what is “active” would be what option it’s set to or what text is currently set
