Clicking edit workflow creates copies of workflow

I just started editing my app - as per normal. When clicking on an element and attempting to edit it’s workflow, it’s going crazy - making multiple copies of the workflow AND erasing all the steps that WERE in that workflow!

For example:

I’m going to have to revert app asap - because i’ve just inadvertently wiped away a number of working workflow.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I had that issue yesterday, but it was just creating copies but not showing up until I restarted the browser. Then it fixed the issue.

Ok thank you - let’s hope it’s that.

I still had to delete all the extra copies that I made.

yes i reverted all the way back to this morning just to ensure i hadn’t messed too much up by looking at workflows (which were deleing the actions as well as duplicating them).

Tbh a bit scared to do any editing right now, may leave it till tomorrow for cobwebs to vanish.

Yeah, once I refreshed the browser, then I didn’t have any issues. They probably pushed an update and we just needed to refresh the browser.

I had something similar happen a long time ago, it was other tabs of the editor open conflicting. If you haven’t already close all editor tabs and any other devices with it open and clear browser cache and/or hard refresh with CTRL + SHIFT + R

Think I asked this recently but is there a way to force logout of all active bubble sessions? Just in case I’m somehow open in a browser somewhere else inadvertently?

Yea on the Bubble dashboard showing all your apps, Profile picture → Account→ Security → Log out everywhere at the bottom

Yes experienced the same bug. Saw a bunch of copies, had no idea why, cursed bubble in my usual way, deleted all copes and moved on. I have not seen it again, but have not copied workflows again. Good to know it’s a bug affecting others and one to keep an eye on when copying a workflow.

Yes so I realised what is happening… The “edit workflow” button (or key command) is now ONLY performing “ADD workflow” instead.

So clicking it will result in a new parallel workflow, not going “into” the existing one.

So the good news is that my original workflows were not being deleted after all. I was just seeing multiple new empty copies.

The bad news is that this “maybe” by design…ie a feature rather than a bug. I really hope not. :grimacing:

And this issue is only related to the new property editor.
