To ensure that your app works properly on the latest versions of Android, Google Play requires that all apps intended for Android 15 and later versions support 16 kB memory page sizes.
As of May 1, 2026, if your app updates do not support 16 kB memory page sizes, you will not be able to release them.
Thanks for posting his, we just launched our app and received this same notification…appreciate the replies but I’m still confused. Is this something that Bubble has fixed/updated already or is there something coming, or some action we need to take? I’ve reached out to Bubble support but haven’t heard back.
“Thank you for sharing this informative message received from the Android Play Store. We will use this feedback to prepare for the future releases of Bubble’s Native Mobile to ensure that the memory page limits are adjusted according to these requirements. Since this won’t take effect until November 1, 2025, we shouldn’t see any blockers currently deploying Bubble native mobile apps to the Play Store. Rest assured, our engineering team will plan accordingly to ensure everything is prepared before this deadline.”
I’ve asked them if an OTA update or new build will be required once it’s ready, and haven’t heard back. So I guess I’ll wait and see.
