I’ve always heard that Bubbles has great customer service. They usually go out of their way to ensure their users are happy and keep coming back to their product. However, recently, they have been unresponsive. Suddenly, I found myself paying for plugins that I didn’t need, under the guise of a ‘one-time’ payment, without any indication of what ‘perpetual’ meant on the sales pages of each plugin.
I had planned to spend my credit. I installed one plugin, saw that it didn’t work and didn’t deduct from my credit. Then I installed another to investigate, assuming it might be related to the plugin subscription. Next thing I knew, they were charging my credit card. Now, my almost three-figure credit is useless because I hadn’t subscribed to a plan yet.
I finally subscribed to a plan this month, which took forever because my dad was sick for most of the year. Despite uninstalling those plugins from Zerocode, I’m still stuck with the bill due to ‘fine print’ issues. Bubble hasn’t responded to help me, which is unusual. Other forums mention that Bubble typically resolves similar issues within a few days at most, but it’s been almost a week now.
To be fair (me, to ZQ?!), that’s not Bubble’s money to refund anymore - it’s Zeroqode’s. Unfortunate, yeah I agree, but you may find success contacting Zeroqode directly?
I understand but it says plug-ins and subscriptions.
The issue with the plugin part, besides the fact they were showing up as not working, are the descriptions not clearly distinguishing between one-time purchases and perpetual subscriptions. It’s crucial for companies to accurately label their offerings to avoid customer confusion, ensuring transparency.
A clearer disclaimer on credits could state “Subscriptions and Monthly Plugins only, this excludes One time payment options” to differentiate them from those one-time purchases and what it means to be perpetual. Plugins labeled as “perpetually” should explicitly state that they involve “One time” as well to avoid any issues considering perpetual comes with a disclaimer itself.
Either or, I love Bubble and these improvements are standard in refining customer experience and avoiding misunderstandings.
IMO Bubble is a reputable company known for product quality and customer service. Resolving these small things like fine print, avoids any confusion really.
It isn’t so much that though, It is more the idea they didn’t work and are taking forever.
