Data in RG having memory and remembering my other payments

Hey Everyone,

I am creating payments in a RG with few input fields and workflow to create a thing (which is payment), but for example if i just created 20K in payments the next time i open the page and i want to add payment to a new estimate, the system still recognizes the old payments and their description and I have a calculating input to show how much is left but it also counts the database of the payments.

How can I make the RG not remember the other payments?

If I understand your question correctly, you want to temporarily store data in a RG, which should be empty again upon a page refresh?

You can look into Custom States for this use case.

Yes, thats exactly what i want to do, I am having a bit of hard time understanding how to apply the custom state, so the RG would not be connected to database at all? only custom state?
