Do actions inside a Custom Event run sequentially or in parallel?

I haven’t found this information on the forum or the manual.

I’m confused because in the Bubble tutorial videos, there’s a part where they say actions inside a Custom Event run sequentially.

I know this can be confused with other questions, so to be clear here’s what I’m asking:
Example:
Workflow Y
Step 1: Trigger Custom Event X

Custom Event X
Step 1: Action A
Step 2: Action B

My question: Does Action B wait for Action A to be completed (Both inside the same Custom Event)? Or do both run in parallel?

To be clear, I’m asking specifically about the execution order of actions within the same Custom Event, not the execution order between the parent workflow and the Custom Event.

The Bubble manual states:

Custom events run in sequence, not parallel. If Workflow 1 triggers a custom event that starts Workflow 2, Workflow 2 will complete before the remaining actions in Workflow 1 run.

However, this seems to state that a Workflow will wait for all actions inside a Custom Event to be completed before continuing with the remaining actions in that Workflow.

Could anyone confirm how this works?

Not that I’m aware of. It follows the same logic as a regular workflow. The only difference is that this custom event runs synchronously within the parent workflow, and the subsequent actions wait for it to finish before proceeding.
