I am working on a layout with a header and a sidebar. I want the sidebar and header to remain fixed on the page as a floating group. If I use floating groups, it affects responsiveness, as getting the exact position to place the content with the header and sidebar as a floating layout becomes challenging. Isn’t there any simple way in bubble?
If you’re talking about a page header, as in navigation, logo, etc., they’re always at the top so I don’t understand why that would be a problem.
The common practice for sidebars is to be hidden under a certain pixel and have a menu icon show.
Maybe you could show a screenshot of what you’re doing.
Also, in the component library, linked to at the top of the editer, Bubble gives you 6 headers and 4 sidebars you can use out of the box to make things faster. You can always edit them to fit your use case.
When I scroll, I want the header and sidebar to be floating there. Second I want to make it responsive so It is becoming very difficult for me to give appropriate margins to the content
What exactly do you mean when you say using a floating group ‘affects responsiveness’?
Floating groups have the exact same responsive behaviour as any other group…
