[Feature Request ] Ability to render custom element plugins in the editor

Hi @Bubble, @emmanuel, @josh ,
Will it be possible for bubble to render custom plugin elements in the editor, like the way the native plugins are rendered in the editor?

For visible input elements (like a date picker), displaying them with placeholder images take away the WYSIWYG capability from the editor.

Thanks.

Btw thanks for the improvements in the plugin editor.
I’ve realized recently when i edit my plugin code in many cases i don’t have to refresh my testing editor, only the preview page.
Previously I had to refresh the testing app editor or make some edits before the changes are applied.

I think if you change the headers in the plugin you’d need to refresh the editor otherwise a normal refresh of preview page works

I might be wrong but this didn’t use to be the case. Previously when i made any change in the plugin code (not changing headers), the preview page didn’t show that the page had changed and needs a refresh.
But recently i’ve realized any small change i make in the plugin editor, the preview page sees it.
I’ve definitely noticed a change in behavior ( and i like it )

We’d love to do this, but for security reasons it’s not simple (running custom code in the editor can be a way to get into someone’s account…). We hope to have a good solution one day though.

Thanks for the response. Makes sense.
