You can’t make swipe work yet, the gesture system is broken. Have a look at the plugin builders thread I’ve made an article about it.

Hello,

Other ideas :

A way to force vertical or horizontal screen
A searchbox element

Hey is there any chance you could be a quick plugin to lock a users screen in portrait? Basically offering the functionality of screen rotation lock so users devices dont turn over when their phone is horizontal.

Amazing work!

Your thread is really helpful, appreciate it man.

Let our team check the possibilities here. Thank you for posting your request.

That’s great news, Jonah! Thank you so much for your work — it’s going to be a huge help to the community. Looking forward to the update! :raising_hands:

I installed visibility detector and it works like a charm. Thanks for great support for making ecosystem better

Can you also create a simple relative time using momment.js? Theres a paid one currently on the plugin store but I feel like this should be free.

Also can you please include the ability to re-order/drag & drop the images in the multi-image uploader? I feel like these two plugins always get seperated but are applicable in 90% of multi-image upload circumstances,

Another vote for a free moment.js plugin

@lesscodeio any chance you could create a dual type media capture plugin? For example, holding a button down will record a video, but a single click will capture an image.

I’m building an app for mobile mechanics to log photos and videos from jobs and it would be much easier to capture AND upload both photos AND videos from one button (like the Snapchat/Tiktok button which forms a red circle for the duration of the button hold), which will be stored on a draggable list before saving to database.

Unfortunately, there are currently some limitations on Bubble’s end. However, this should become possible in the near future.

I’m sorry, but we cannot participate in any form of competition with other contributors by releasing a paid plugin for free. However, if you share your specific use case, we would be happy to develop a solution tailored to your needs and release it as a plugin designed for that particular scenario. Hope you understand.

Please email your use case on bubble@lesscode.io.

Suggestion: develop a plugin for Bubble Mobile Native that lets you dynamically control the “Status Bar” color (including transparency), so it automatically matches the current screen’s background—delivering a more modern and seamless visual experience, similar to Spotify or apps built with FlutterFlow.

Thank you so much for developing the dynamic Status Bar control plugin for Bubble! It really takes the visual experience of our apps to the next level. I also appreciate your continued support for the community and how quickly you delivered this. Great work and congratulations!

I’d like to make one last suggestion, hoping it’s helpful and not inconvenient.

It would be great to have a plugin for Bubble Mobile Native that manages the interface behavior when the virtual keyboard opens, on both Android and iOS. Right now, when a text input is focused, fixed elements like the Tab Bar or bottom buttons get pushed up along with the keyboard. This is a common issue on Android but can also happen on iOS.

A plugin that keeps these fixed elements in place, properly adjusts scrollable areas, and removes unwanted clickable zones above the keyboard would provide a much smoother and more professional experience for apps built with Bubble.

Several users have already reported this to Bubble support, but the issue still persists. The related forum thread was automatically closed after 14 days without resolution and can be found here:

Thank you very much in advance for your attention and continued support to the community!
