Freelance Opportunity: Style & Debug Stripe.js 2 Card Input Element

Hey freelancers - I’ve bumped into something that’s just beyond my current skillset. I’m using the Stripe.js 2 plugin and I can’t seem to style their card input element. Specifically, I’m trying to increase the height of the card input field because our clients (and theirs) are missing the input when they click and telling us our platform is broken because of that.

I posted a question to the forum about this just over a week ago and no one came back, so I’m hoping to hire someone to help me do this.

Hoping to hear from you.

Brian

Hey @brian,

The boring reason this is happening is that input field is generated by some code that references back to a stylesheet that Stripe controls on their server. So it’s not something that is easily tinkered with settings wise on Bubble.

However, the easy way to do this is to put some custom CSS on the page(s) where that card input element is that effectively overrides Stripe’s stylesheet. It’s a quick job.

You can book some time with me through my website and I can jump on a call with you and we can do this together. It’ll be useful information beyond just this instance that you can apply to override other styles that are created by other plugins etc in the future.

Alternatively, I do work async as well. So you can just book a time in my calendar and send me the details and let me know you don’t want a live call and I can record a loom video showing you what I’ve done. Same outcome, just depends whether you want it live or not / have other questions :grinning:

Hey @josh24 - you’re a legend. I’ll book some time on your site for one of the two options. Really appreciate your help with this.

Best,
Brian
