Get day of week from date

I’m trying to calculate the day of the week from a date. I have found a formula online, but I can’t seem to use parentheses to change the order of operations, so I’m hoping there is a plugin or a workaround, as this is kind of pivotal to making this work.

Are you using a ‘date’ field here?

If so you can just use ‘Extract Day’ to get the day of the week.
