GoodBye Bubble! I have moved my project from bubble.io tio Next JS

Can we all just stop bashing each other’s heads in here?

  • We all have different use-cases
  • Not everyone has the time to learn how to code
  • Bubble is still great
  • At the end of the day, the fact that OP is still posting here means he misses the community a little bit, so least we still got that

All of the above are true

Bubble does not have to be the right platform for every project.

Why not both? I love building in Bubble and extend my Bubble apps with code in other stacks. Code or no-code, what’s important is that goals are met.

That said, i think Supabase is great but I see an over reliance on Supabase throughout the no & ‘vibe’ code community. Nothing wrong with that but what a waste since most will be unable to extract the best of what it offers while paying unnecessarily more.

Yes, you can use one of the dozens of frontends and backends and stack them anyway you want.

Those discussions are always good…

although they don’t usually start with ‘Goodbye Bubble…’

I have nothing against anyone who wants to use another platform, if that’s what sparks their excitement.

I always just find it odd when they go back to the platform they left and bash it.

Anyway, this was probably just a bait thread to stir up something, and maybe I fell for it.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.
