It would be nice to get the tooltip on hover added to the group element as there are a lot of situations in which a group element is needed to ‘overlay’ other elements for functionality like hovering or pressing to trigger workflows.

We are currently considering options to extend functionality here, but as of now I would suggest partial workarounds such as adding a transparent shape on top
In the same app I also am using an HTML element to store Icons and because of this I also need to have a group ‘overlay’ to get functionality.
