How hard is it to build a wedding buy/sell/rent marketplace in Bubble?

I’m planning to build a wedding marketplace where users can buy, sell, rent, or make offers on wedding gowns and accessories (like Stillwhite or Nearly Newlywed).

Main features:

  • Buyer/Seller/Admin roles

  • Product listings (for sale or rent)

  • Offer system (accept/reject/counter)

  • Rental booking calendar

  • Chat between buyers & sellers

  • Stripe Connect payments

  • Reviews & ratings

  • Admin dashboard

  • Notifications (email + in-app)

Integrations: Stripe, SendGrid, Google Maps, Calendar plugin.

I’d love your advice on:

I know this post is old, but you can definitely build this in Bubble, marketplaces with Stripe Connect + listing workflows are one of Bubble’s strengths.

Difficulty: Medium. Listing + offer logic is simple; the trickier parts are rental availability, messaging, cancellations, and Stripe seller onboarding.

Timeline: A solid MVP usually takes 4–6 weeks.

Budget: Typically $3.5k–$6k depending on UX polish.

Tips:
• Structure your data around Listings, Offers, Rentals, Conversations
• Build the booking/calendar logic early
• Use Bubble’s built-in workflows for notifications
