How to save text to field with line breaks?

Hi Bubble Community,

How can we save a string of text with line breaks in a text field in the db?

This is for sending text notifications. The body of the text is stored in the db and is used in the BE WF to send a text message using the Twilio plugin. We are saving the body of the text to the db instead of putting it straight into the twilio plugin.

The BBcode example isn’t applying the line break:
First line of text message [br] second line of text message [/br]

No definite answer for you but have you tried writing the text in html format and then using an html element to display the text?

edit just saw that you needed it for a text notification so I’m not sure if that’ll apply
