I’m currently exploring an app in preview mode, and I’m interested in finding out the name of the app’s editor or creator. Is there any way to access this information from the app preview?
I appreciate any insights or guidance on how to obtain this information.
If you’re asking if it’s possible to find out the name of the person who created an app then, as far as I know, no it’s not (and nor should it be). Unless that creator has made that info public on the site, or elsewhere.
That said, if there is some specific reason why you need to find out who created/owns a particular app (such as a legal dispute or an app admin/login/domain issue), then you could contact Bubble directly - they may or may not provide than info, depending on the reason for the request.
Yes, there are plenty of ways to see the appID (e.g in the cookies set by the app, or in the page source HTML)… but probably the simplest way is just to check the app details in the console (just type ‘app’ into the bowser console to see all of the publicly accessible information about the app).
As you know you log user in from editor run as it generate link to log user in it has two vars dynamic app name in editor and id of user and i tried it and work
now by user_id and app_name you can log user by no password if you hide it from privacy rules not normal to hide this type of data
what’s your opinion @adamhholmes ?
