Is there an ETA on Bubble Mobile being able to work fully offline?

Hi guys, I am busy creating an app for farmers to be able to submit worklogs, specifically for timber farmers.

An issue that I am running into is that there isn’t really great support for offline usage. I’m currently trying to figure out how to use the Local Storage plugin, but either I am stupid and not understanding it correctly or what I want to achieve is not really possible.

I also searched for if Local Storage/offline mode will become a built in feature on Bubbble, but haven’t really found anything confirming this.

If anyone has any news regarding this please let me know.

I don’t think they are working on that at the moment. I haven’t heard of anything yet. You can try to upvote it on the Ideaboard though. It would be helpful.

You might have to use a different app builder(or vibe code) just for the native app and local storage with logic to sync when it is brought back online.

Then you can still connect to Bubble for the backend and use the web app for administrators on the computer

Especially since I don’t think we even know if this is on their radar anytime soon. Last I heard they wanted to do offline capability but read-only, with no sync logic (unless that is in-place already)

It’s unlikely to ever support full offline capabilities.

hi there @MrD, I passed your question to teh mobile team and they confirmed your use-case isn’t support at the moment, but definitely something they’ll be working on in 2026. Hope that helps and sorry I don’t have a timeline to share
