Hi everyone,

I’m Carly, Director of PMM & Content at Bubble, and I’m thrilled to announce our first-ever Bubble Product Sesh! :tada: Join us on July 24 at 12 PM ET for an exclusive look at what’s coming to Bubble in Q3 and beyond.

During this session, our VP of Product @allenyang, Director of Engineering @payam.azadi, and I will share many of the roadmap initiatives we’re working on. Expect to hear about important updates in areas like platform reliability, editor modernization, and more. This is your chance to get a preview on what to expect from Bubble and also get some Q&A in before BubbleCon in October!

This community has expressed how valuable it is to know in advance about Bubble’s upcoming changes and developments. We’ve taken that feedback to heart — both in terms of what we create and when and how we share it. We can’t wait to show you what we have planned!

These are some really cool initatives from Bubble @carly - congratulations, everyone in the community is going to :heart: this

  • More focus and engagement with the community
  • Clearly defined roles for projects (AI, mobile etc)
  • Prioritising QoL updates via regularly scheduled #BubbleBoosts
  • Increased transparency around platform stability and security via
  • 0-1 official courses on YT

All of this is what people have wanted from the beginning and seeing that you guys are responding positively really makes me happy :slight_smile:

Q&A

  • Lists of things will be able to scale better meaning that # items in List might not affect performance so severely
  • Native mobile / AI updates will be all at BubbleCon
  • No timeline on loops (won’t happen soon, but how is Create a list of Things not an action yet?!)
  • Improved CSS interaction not on roadmap
  • Hints at free-flowing workflow tab like Figma with more info at BubbleCon (workflow chaining, question mark?? :grin: )
  • DB improvements will lead to faster DB queries
  • Return data from BE workflow is not on roadmap. Use the app connector

Thanks for the summary - I thought today’s stream was some of the most exciting news in months. I got the most out of the Q&A, having access to the team like that with surprising openness (thanks @carly @payam.azadi & @allenyang !). Would love one of these every few months as well!

yes, but only one sentence that regional hosting will be available, if I remember correctly.

True that, I wear sunglasses at night. It is also possible to turn down the brightness, but I just think it is cool to wear sunglasses at night. :wink:

It would be insanity if you broke up the clusters but did not go regional.

@carly is it possible for you to confirm regional hosting will come to Australia and what timeframe that might be?

Hi Chad! As Payam mentioned, regional hosting is on the roadmap and we want to make it flexible to support whatever region you may be interested in. While I don’t have a firm timeframe, the team is confident it will be ready in the next year.
