Login to bubble user from 3rd party application

Hello,

I’ve been working with Bubble for a while for simple things, and I am now trying to expand and figure some stuff out.

I see in the settings under API, the “3rd Party OAuth SAMLAccess” area. I am curious if this is for allowing user login from outside applications.

If it is, could anyone possibly link me to a resource that I can see, from bubbles end, how exactly this is used? I’ve read through the docs and am still a bit confused as I’ve never really messed with OAuth before, outside of general plugins that allow login via social media (specifically Discord).

Any help/knowledge is appreciated!

if you hovered on the dropdown that under “3rd Party OAuth SAMLAccess” a “see reference” button will appear and it will lead you to related bubble’s documentation
