Make changes to parent thing not working

I have a group A with a repeating group inside.

When a cell in the repeating group is clicked, group A is hidden, group B is displayed.

Within group B is a Cancel Button.

When the Cancel Button is clicked, I’m trying to change “Canceled” (yes/no) in Parent Group things to yes… it is not changing, what could I be doing wrong?

Maybe you didn’t set the data of the parent group, so it doesn’t know what group to change?
