I’m reaching out to get and advice. I left my job as a Marketing Executive to pursue my dream of becoming a Bubble Developer. It wasn’t easy many around me didn’t understand my decision. But I stayed committed, and for the past 1.5 years, I’ve been learning and building. My country is not famous for Bubble. I could not find anyone who lives in my country as a Bubble Developer.
I’ve created my own portfolio on Bubble from scratch
Bubble portfolio Bubble | No-code apps and worked on real projects, but I know I still have so much to learn. I’m kindly asking for your advice, feedback, or any guidance to help me grow into a professional Bubble Developer. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much for the question, Robb!
I have work experience in Bubble, having built real client projects (both web and mobile), and even created my entire portfolio on Bubble from scratch.
Right now, my biggest goal is to find good Bubble work. Whether that’s with a team, an agency, or solo projects, where I can contribute meaningfully and keep improving.
Appreciate your support. means a lot on this journey!
Part of my background is in marketing (it’s basically what I’ve done for all my “jobs”), but I’ve also always worked with HTML/CSS, PHP/MySQL, and finally Bubble more recently.
If you’re still trying to learn, the best thing to do is to come up with an actual app and then build it. Preferably something with some level of complexity. You’ll run into hundreds of problems and be forced to solve them to get to the next step.
If you’re looking for work and trying to pitch directly to potential clients (Rather than trying to find a job at a bubble agency), Bubble is excellent at solving actual process problems in businesses, so it may be worth hanging out wherever the mid-size business owners are in your community. Small companies probably won’t have the budget for your work, and large businesses aren’t going to look at anything other than enterprise solutions.
Thank you so much for the advice. It helps!
I’ve been building real apps and learning through each challenge. I’ll look into connecting with mid-size businesses too. Appreciate you taking the time to share this!
